catacombs in the Distillery

December 2, 2008

We were walking through the Distillery district in Toronto and stopped at A Taste of Quebec – a new shop in the distillery. The space is for private parties with J.P. Chalet as the chef offering terrines, patés, cheeses and cured meats. They also plan on ‘renovating’ the underground catacombs (barrel vaults) for small private events.

The space is beautiful and the food looks tasty, but I wish this was a public space for parts of the week. Probably would make an excellent wine and tapas bar.
