sportship

July 6, 2009

Is there a better example of sportship than Roger Federer? In losing and winning he is definitely someone people should emulate – no showboating, small celebrations, empathy for his opponents, losing with dignity.

He manages to be humble but without underplaying his talent, effort and accomplishments. His attitude reminds me of the old Ghanian symbol “Ram’s Horns” representing both humility and strength.
